Champ Show Critique East of England 2021

East Of England Championship Dog Show 10.7.2021

I would like to thank the committee of East Of England Championship Show for the honour and
pleasure of judging my beloved Irish Setters. Thanks also to my two wonderful stewards Bill &Trish
who looked after me so well, also Gabrielle Sloane for the wonderful photos and finally a huge
thankyou to the exhibitors without whom there would be no show.
Just a couple of observations for the breed as a whole. Quite a few untypical heads, some with
round, light eyes which gives for a hard, stark expression as opposed to the soft melting expression
required. Lack of rear extension is still an issue, however I found what I wanted in my main winners
and placings. Delighted with both my line-ups. Thankyou
