A very warm welcome to the Club Website
The Club was formed in 1973 with 25 founder members.
Several social events, rallies, and matches were held in the early days and eventually a number of Open Shows. In January 1979 the Club held its first Championship Show at Woking in a period of heavy snowfall. Mrs M Hurll judged the dogs and awarded Carek Red Fashion his second Challenge Certificate – he gained his title later that year. Mrs V Page, judging bitches, gave Pollyanna of Caskeys the first of eight Challenge Certificates she was to win that year. She was also Best in Show.
Early in 1984 the SEISC celebrated its tenth birthday with a dinner dance held in Newbury. The same year it published the now famous book ‘Irish Setter Show Champions 1947-1982’.
